FAQ'S

answered!
01/
What is a String Quartet?

A string quartet consists of two Violins, a Viola and a Cello

02/
Do you play outside?

We are very happy to play outside for you, however, British weather can pose problems at certain times of the year and we need to protect ourselves and our valuable instruments! A gazebo, awning, covered area or doorway would be preferable, so it may be worth checking with the venue to see if these are available should they be needed. We are able to bring our own gazebo if required.

03/
Do you play at different venues during one booking?

Yes, we have travelled between venues during one booking. If this is required it would be included in the total timing of the booking, details of distance and route would be required prior to the event.

04/
What if I want music that isn't on your repertoire list?

We are happy to arrange any music of your choice for your event at a small extra cost. We require 3 weeks notice for this.

05/
How do I book?

You can contact us from this website via the "Contact & Book Us" page at the top. We are happy to send you a quote and answer any further questions you may have. Alternatively, do get in touch via our social media channels.

06/
How long do you play for?

Usually we take bookings of between 1 and 5 hours - we do not formally have a limit on timings.

07/
What do you wear?

Our usual attire for formal concerts and weddings/functions is elegant black for ladies, DJ for men, which is traditional amongst quartets.

08/
Do you play for events other than weddings?

Yes! We are experienced in playing for corporate events, anniversaries and other parties. We are also available to play concerts ranging from light classical and popular requests, to a more traditional string quartet repertoire. See our concerts page for more details.
